Roman Baths (Baden-Baden, Germany)
Wow, one day in France, and I'm already in the country next door, Germany. If you saw the map of where I am, you can see that Strasbourg is right on the German-French border - as in I can walk 20 minutes from my apartment to Germany.Since everything in France is pretty much closed on Sundays (really - no stores, no movie theatres, nothing), I went to a Roman bath in a German town called Baden-Baden, which is very famous for their baths. The one I went to was actually built on the site of an old Roman bath 10 years ago, so it was very modern.
So what is it like to go to a Roman Bath? Well, it was basically a bunch of hot swimming pools with different temperatures. Some were outside, some were inside, some were really hot, and some were really cold. But it was VERY relaxing.
