7 Countries in 14 Days: Ireland

Ireland is a beautiful country, which is just northwest of France. This picture that Patrick took is actually in the middle of winter - and it's still green. Patrick told me that the last time he was in Ireland during the spring - it was even greener.

Since the trip was only two days long, we didn't have much time to explore the countryside. Basically we spent most of our time in a small little village on the coast south of Cork called Kinsale. Ireland is probably most known in the US for its crystal - have you ever heard of Waterford? They actually make the ball that drops on New York City for New Year's Eve. Well anyway, it's only about 30 minutes away from where we were.
