A Saturday in Strasbourg: The Cathedral

You really can't talk about Strasbourg and not talk about it's Cathedral. At the time it was built in 1439, it was the tallest building in the World for more than 400 years. It is still the tallest building in Strasbourg, and you can see it from miles around. One of these days I'll actually climb up the tower.

When the Cathedral was built, there were not a lot of people who could read, so a lot of statues and stained glass windows were made in order to tell various stories that the people could understand.

So how close is my apartment to the Cathedral? Well, it's probably less than 250 feet.
